D.L. Turner Consultants Inc. consists of highly qualified and experienced structural engineers, technicians, drafting and administrative personnel. Most of our work is carried out for clients whom we have served for at least a decade. These clients recognize that we will ensure that their objectives both in terms of budget constraints and ambitious construction schedules are achieved.

The principals of D.L. Turner Consultants Inc. personally involve themselves in all aspects of the projects. This results in our ability to provide the client with immediate feedback and ensures the rapid production of drawings, specifications, sketches and reports.

D.L. Turner Consultants Inc. has invested in state of the art Structural hardware and software. Production of Structural drawings is carried out using the latest version of Autocad (Computer aided drafting). Structural Drawings, documents and other correspondence may be rapidly transmitted via electronic mail (E-mail) throughout the world.

Working in conjunction with a team of Engineering and Architectural Consultants, D.L. Turner Consultants Inc. provides the developer/builder/contractor with a complete service.

Prior to Construction:

- Cost estimates and construction schedules

- Conceptual design alternatives

- Design of cost effective structural systems

- Contract documents (plan and specifications) for permit, for tender and for construction

During Construction:

- Anticipation of potential "road blocks"

- Resolution of sudden problems created by site conditions

- Site inspections to ensure that the work is proceeding in accordance with contract documents

- Structural steel connection design and analysis


We are members of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE), Post Tensioning Institute, the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the American Institute of Concrete (ACI).

We have worked on projects throughout North America, including in Texas, New Jersey, Florida, Vermont, Maine, New York, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Michigan, Ohio, Connecticut, Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta.
